HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD

Start by wrapping a measuring tape around the circumference of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows. Where the tape overlaps is your measurement.
No measuring tape? No problem! Use a piece of string to mark the overlap, then measure the string.
Use the size chart to find where your optimal tactical helmet size should be.
Also, don't worry if you choose the wrong size. We offer an easy exchange policy!

Our MICH helmet offers NIJ Level IIIA ballistic protection and features a design that extends below the ear to provide superior protection. This below-the-ear (BTE) ballistic helmet has become the standard trusted by military personnel, law enforcement and security personnel.
The BTE® ballistic helmet shell is made of DuPont™ Kevlar®, a high-strength, lightweight material. As a result, the BTE® weighs only 2.60 - 3.3 pounds, a significant weight savings.
Enhanced visibility and hearing capabilities compared to traditional PASGT helmets.
Equipped with Maximum Comfort Impact Protection 7-pad (MCIP 7) suspension system.
Quick-release design ensures quick and hassle-free donning and doffing with no interference when acquiring targets.
Integrated rail system for accessory mounting.
Hook-and-loop decals for patch or badge mounting.
Includes a Cam-Fit™ retention system and H-Back retention system for security.

Defense level:

The helmet's platform meets or exceeds the NIJ Class IIIA ballistic standard for penetration and withstands a minimum of 650 m/s V-50 from a 22 caliber 17 grain (1.1 gram) fragmentation simulator (FSP) round according to STANAG 2920 testing.
Ballistic Performance:NIJ Class IIIA (according to NIJ STD 0106.01 / 0108.01) (tested 9mm, 357 and .44 magnum).
Impact Performance:(ACH specification CO/PD-05-04): <150Gs

Care Instructions

STORAGE: This product is manufactured using an aramid material which naturally breaks down over time. Ultraviolet light accelerates the breakdown of aramid fibers, so be sure to store your helmet in a dark, cool place when not in use to ensure maximum lifespan of the product.

USE: To extend the life of your product, it is strongly recommended that you use a protective cloth cover over the helmet to protect it from UV rays while in the field.

CLEANING: Clean with a soft cloth dampened with water, as needed. Do not use cleaning detergents or abrasive scrubbing materials, as these may compromise the ballistic material. Do not allow the product to sit in water, as this may corrode the ballistic material.

PAD CLEANING: Remove pads from the interior of the helmet and gently rub under warm running water. Squeeze out and air dry. Do not machine wash or dry! Avoid using cleaning detergents as they may break down the memory foam.
